Essentials of Cub Scout Advancement

This presentation provides new and prospective pack advancement coordinators and pack advancement committee members with the basic knowledge and skills needed to get started. It can also serve as a refresher to veterans. Participants will learn about the Cub Scout advancement process, their unique role in it, and the related BSA national policies and procedures. The session is intended to be instructor-led and lasts approximately 60 to 90 minutes depending on the experience level of those attending. Trail to Eagle

This presentation introduces the Scout, his parents, his unit leader, or others interested in the process of working toward the Eagle Scout rank. The requirements are reviewed with particular attention to identifying and setting up the Eagle Scout Service Project, identifying and soliciting references, completing the Eagle Scout rank application, and what to expect at the Eagle Scout board of review.
